Arrow-Inspired Design for a Pointy Touch

Arrow motifs allow for a touch of dramatic graphics without disrupting clean-lined interior scheme.

According to Business of Home, woven from paper and hemp arrows can be featured in an arch and stripe design, mimicking an arrow being released from a bow. Plush floor coverings with a biomorphic twist allow for hand-sketched arrow-like tree branch motifs. Hand-painted dart patterned wall coverings evoke flocks of birds flying across the sky. Tightly woven bokashi paper yarns bring depth and dimension to textural, woven wall coverings. A medley of triangles arranged in different directions can give a wall a sense of rhythm and movement. When arranged in diagonal rows—rather than horizontal ones tiles create a darting herringbone backsplash that’s sure to make a statement.
